Sehwag inaugurates cricket ground in Bhubaneswar

Sept 15: Dashing Delhi and India opener Virender Sehwag inaugurated the renovated ground of leading city cricket club Pragati Sporting here today. Located in the Unit-VI area, the small but cute ground now has two all-weather synthetic pitches, the first of its kind in the state, four natural turf wickets and a bowling machine.

State Chief Secretary Jugal Mohapatra, Police DG Prakash Mishra, Additional DG Sanjeev Marik, Odisha Cricket Association secretary Asirbad Behera, Tata Steel deputy vice-president Arun Mishra, Pragati Sporting coach Kishor Mania, president Ranjib Biswal and secretary Nilesh Bohidhar were present in the function.
